Playing Catch Up!!!!!

Finally a few minutes to catch up on the blog! January has been a crazy month between having a sick little man, work, our washing machine dieing and flooding my laundry room. I am pretty sure I will be glad when February comes! On a good note, it has been warmer the last week which is so nice, especially for Colt. Also Miss Comet won Utah Broke Dog of the year for 2010...(so fun to get to keep the trophy another year ;) February is the start of the spring field trial season and Destrie is so excited....as are Colt & I;) Colt is so much fun. Everyday he learns something new and it is amazing to watch him each day. He is such a good boy even when he was so sick he was still just a joy to be around. He tries a little more each day to take more steps on his own. He will do between 5 - 10 at a time. He gets into everything! My kitchen cupboards will never be the same! He loves to play with balls....any kind as long as they are round he loves them. At my parents he loves to roll golf balls through their kitchen. At home we have a gate at the bottom of the stairs and he loves to put all the balls on the first step..... and then needs help getting them out. But he is so proud when is rounds them all up! His other new thing is that he has figured out to blow Destrie's whistle and the other day he got a hold of the duck calls.... Sorry I can't get the video to load. :( He talks nonstop. Most of time he knows what he is talking about but we don't! He does say mom, dad, papa, nana. Check out all of his teeth. He has 12! Such a cute boy!
