Well three weeks ago the "Big Adventure" began with Destrie and Colt making the long trek south to Mesquite for a Field Trial and then down to Grammy & Papas for a week and all of this with no MOM!
So Friday morning Des and I got up early and got the truck and trailer loaded with dogs, horses, lots and lots of stuff and one cute little boy.
Once Emmett got to our house they were off.

It was a little weird for me to be home and have things so quiet... But I love the fact that Des is such a good dad and willing to take a one year old on the the road with him. I almost forget he also had 4 horses and 4 dogs, what a man!
Grammy & Papa came up to Mesquite to help out.

Sunday night the boys headed down to Kingman to Grammy & Papas and spent a week enjoying the sun and warm air. Then late Friday night I flew down to Vegas and Des came over and picked me up. Saturday morning we were lazy, but in the afternoon we headed Vegas to meet my parents- who had also headed south for the long weekend. We met for dinner and to celebrate me turning the big 30, yikes. It was a great night.
Colt wanted to run through the casino and was not happy his dad was holding him!

Sunday we were in the car again and headed over to Chino Valley to have lunch with some friends. Colt was less than thrilled to be in his carseat again.

Monday we took one more little road trip when we heard these two were in town
Trav & Jocee had come to Vegas with their mom to visit some friends, so Grammy, Colt & I headed up to see them. We had so much fun.

Tuesday morning we packed up and headed North back to the cold.. yuck
