Wow I am so behind on blogging! April was such a crazy month. April is always a busy month for us, but this year seemed busier than normal. I figured that this year the three of us were all home together about 4 days during the month. Yikes that is a lot of days on the road with a 1 1/2 year old.
So here we go!
To start off we got a visit from two special ladies. Unfortunately we were only able to spend a day with them but it was a great day. We were finally able to meet Miss Debbie who is Colt's Birth grandma. She came out with Ashley for a little visit. We went to lunch and met up with my parents, and Grammy H was in town and brought two of our favorite girls, Bailee and Avree.

As you can see Colt was more interested in my dad's wallet then looking at the camera!
After lunch we took Debbie and Ash with us to run a few errands and then we hurried back home so the ladies could work the big horses with Jake. While they were out with Jake, Colt decided to play in the mud puddles....

And then he fell....

He had mud everywhere! It was a good thing Granny J happened to have bought him some new clothes!
Then we had a little BBQ at my parents house. Then the craziness began! Debbie and Ashley stayed at my parents and we went home and started loading the trailer to head to Boise. We slept a few hours and then headed out for two weeks of field trialing.
Unfortunately the weather was not great so Colt and I were stuck in the trailer most of the time, but whenever the weather would break we headed out.

Playing in a pile of hay...he loved it

He had to have his best friend snuggle to go to sleep.

Our bed was a little crowded with the four of us. Yes Comet sleeps right in between Colt and I.
Here are a few fun pics during our spring field trial adventures

Colt was such a trooper. We are so lucky to have such an easy going little man who loves to go with his crazy parents!
